Job description

Mathematics Teacher Required

  • £2,200 - £3,000 per month
  • Planning and delivering Mathematics at KS3 and KS4
  • February 2018 start

Due to an unforeseen circumstance in their Mathematics department, our client school in Derby is in urgent need of a qualified Maths teacher for January with the capabilities to deliver a consistent high standard of lesson, increase pupil engagement with Mathematics with a track record in raising attainment.

The Academy is smaller than your average sized secondary, with less than 900 pupils on roll. The number of pupils eligible for pupil premium is almost twice that of the national average and the academy meets the government’s current floor standards in students’ attainment and progress.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
