Maths Teacher

A co-educational school that caters for pupils aged 5-18 with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviour are looking for a Maths Teacher.

An exciting opportunity for an outstanding and ambitious Maths Teacher has arisen to join this growing school. The school are looking for a teacher who has experience of working across Key Stages 3 and 4 and is driven and motivated by getting results from their pupils regardless of how small or big these may be.

The school is an Outstanding School for pupils with needs in the area of social, emotional and mental health. Many of the children at this school have a diagnosis of a specific condition, such as ASC, ADHD, Dyslexia, Attachment Disorder, Developmental Trauma etc. The schools aim is to run a curriculum based on a mainstream model, which can provide bespoke learning that meets the needs of pupils. The school have up to 75 pupils on site, in classes of no more than 8. Pupils at this school are aged between 5 and 16.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Maths Teacher who has a thorough understanding of SEN, including supporting children with ASC and social, emotional and mental health difficulties. They will be organised, highly motivated and able to support where there may be a need. The opportunity is for 5 days a week and can became a permanent role for the right candidate.
