Maths Teacher - Salford

Teaching Personnel, the market leader of education recruitment, are currently working closely alongside one of our client schools in Salford who are looking to source a highly inspiring and engaging Maths teacher to join their highly successful department from Easter 2019.

  • Full time Teacher of Maths vacancy from Easter 2019
  • Until the end of the academic year in the first instance
  • Potential for the role to continue into the new academic year
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (ÂŁ23,720-ÂŁ39,406)
  • Teaching Maths up to GCSE level
  • Suitable for NQTs

Our client school situated close to Salford Quays was rated as 'Good' by Ofsted in their most recent inspection in 2018 and have recently appointed a new Principal. This 11-16 mixed comprehensive academy originally opened in 2008 before moving to a new state of the art, multi-million pound building in 2012. This gives student a fantastic environment, enabling to reach their full potential. This is evidenced through a positive Progress 8 score of 0.17, proving that students are performing above their expected progress.

As a Maths teacher at our client school, you will be expected to plan and deliver engaging and inspirational Maths lessons to both KS3 and KS4. The Maths department are keen on collaboration and joint planning, enabling teachers to perform to the best of their ability in the classroom. Prospective candidates should have relevant qualifications and hold QTS in the UK. Both Newly Qualified and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply for this role.
