Full-time Maths - Wigan

Teaching Personnel are in the process of recruiting a Maths teacher on behalf of one of our key client secondary schools that is based in Wigan.

Due to a long standing partnership with this large Wigan based secondary school we have now been formally approached by the Headteacher to aid them in the recruitment of a Maths teacher for a full-time position, covering a fixed term staffing gap for the remainder of the academic year.

Position: Full-time Maths Teaching Position

School: Large 'Good' graded secondary school in the heart of Wigan.

Pay: Pay In line with MPS/UPS standards £23,720 - £39,406

Start/Finish: February 2019 start date with employment until the end of the academic year

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected secondary school and a proud Maths department made up of 6 experienced Maths practitioners. It has been highlighted that the school are open to applications from Maths teachers of all experience levels due to the supportive structure currently in place.

During your time working within the school you will have access to regular staff training sessions and reviews that are designed to ensure that you have all the tools necessary to provide

Our client school;

  • Large Wigan based Secondary school with around 1250 pupils on roll.
  • Situated between Wigan and Chorley the school is just a short drive from the M6 and A577
  • There is on-site staff car parking for all teaching staff working within the school
  • If travelling via public transport there are good transport links to the centre of Wigan and then surrounding areas.
