A well known co-educational secondary school in the Warrington area is looking for an excellent classroom practitioner in the form of a Maths teacher to join their Maths department. The successful Maths teacher will have a full teaching timetable consisting primarily of KS3 with some GCSE classes. There will be a focus on teaching those students who are lower ability with all year groups being divided into ability sets.

If you are a successful Maths teacher looking for your next role starting after the Easter break then this is the ideal role for you. The successfully appointed Maths teacher can be at any stage of their teaching career, with applications being accepted from NQTs or more experienced teachers. The school will be looking to meet prospective Maths teachers prior to the end of this spring term between February half term and the 5th April.

Key aspects of this Maths teaching position:

  • Pay ranging between £110 - £140 per day depending on experience and payscale
  • Pay will be through Teaching Personnel on a weekly basis
  • Full time Mathematics teaching position, starting 23rd April 2018
  • Duration: initially for 1 term but there is an open vacancy at this supportive secondary school
  • Ideal position for a Maths teacher who is able to make a difference to lower ability students requiring intervention and dedicated teaching

The school has a student-centred focus when it comes to teaching, therefore requiring a Maths teacher who can offer high quality teaching with an innovative and dedicated style. Whilst this position is initially on a supply basis, the school are looking for a practitioner who will immerse themselves in school life and strive to push the school and students learning forward.

The school is located in the central Warrington area which is easily accessible from all surrounding areas including Wigan, Widnes and Trafford. The school is well serviced by local public transport from the town centre and even train from Manchester city centre. For those travelling by car, the M56, M60 and M62 motorway networks all run near to the school. The school also has a large on site car park for use by all staff.
