Are you a passionate Maths teacher who believes every student can succeed with the right support and the right classroom environment?

We are looking for a motivated, engaging and resilient Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Trowbridge. Whether you're early in your career or an experienced educator, if you bring energy to the classroom and a belief in the power of well-managed, inspiring lessons, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll be a key part of a dedicated Maths department, delivering high-quality lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your teaching will go beyond just covering the curriculum — it will ignite curiosity, build confidence, and help students make meaningful progress, no matter their starting point.

You’ll be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to a range of learning needs

  • Create a positive, focused classroom environment through clear routines and consistent behaviour management

  • Inspire students to see the value and beauty of Mathematics — not just as a subject, but as a skill for life

  • Use assessment and feedback effectively to drive progress and raise attainment

  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive department where ideas are shared and professional growth is encouraged

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a teacher who:

  • Has a genuine passion for Maths and the ability to communicate it with enthusiasm

  • Understands the importance of well-structured, engaging lessons to maintain student focus and drive outcomes

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and a calm, consistent approach to behaviour

  • Has experience teaching across a range of abilities and can differentiate effectively

  • Is reflective, open to feedback, and committed to continuous professional development

What We Offer

  • A welcoming and supportive staff team with a shared goal of student success

  • A strong behaviour policy that ensures teachers can teach, and students can learn

  • Regular CPD and training opportunities tailored to your career stage

  • A school culture that values innovation, collaboration and student-centred teaching

  • The chance to make a lasting impact in the lives of young people — and enjoy the rewards that come with it
