Maths Teacher – Tameside Secondary School
Full-time or part-time considered | MPS/UPS | September 2025 start

Are you a dedicated Maths Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school?
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a large, well-established secondary school in the Tameside area to appoint a skilled Maths Teacher to start in September 2025. The school is open to full-time or part-time availability for the right candidate.

You will be joining a strong and collaborative Maths department with a clear focus on raising attainment and supporting pupils of all abilities. The role involves teaching Maths to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for KS5 if desired.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • Have experience teaching the UK Maths curriculum across KS3–KS4

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and confident delivery of challenging topics

  • Use data and assessment effectively to support pupil progress

  • Be committed to inclusive teaching and supporting pupils with varying needs, including SEND and EAL

  • Be passionate about mathematics, fostering curiosity and resilience in learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
