Maths Teacher

Are you a Maths Teacher seeking you next challenge? Do you want to teach at an Outstanding Manchester secondary school?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school located in the Stockport area of Manchester, in order to recruit a Maths Teacher to join their high achieving Maths department. The Manchester secondary school are seeking a Maths Teacher who has excellent subject knowledge, and will be able to motivate and engage pupils across the year groups. This Maths Teacher vacancy is for a full time, on going position, starting from January 2019. There is an opportunity for a school based contract for the successful Maths Teacher, following an introduction from Teaching Personnel. The successful Maths Teacher will be able to teach up to KS4, and display good behavioural and classroom management.

Main Points of Maths Teaching position:

  • Pay rate in line with the Teacher pay scale
  • Outstanding Manchester school

The secondary school is located in a rural area of Stockport, in a leafy Manchester suburb. The secondary school is easily accessible by car, a 10 minute drive from Manchester's ring road. The school is also accessible by public transport, with direct links from Manchester city centre. In the most recent Ofsted inspection, the schools was graded Outstanding in all areas, with pupils behaviour highlighted a major strength. The school is seeking a Maths specialist who will hit the ground running in January, and will be able to meet the high standards of the school. The school has a great reputation in the surrounding areas, and is at the heart of the local community.
