Position: Maths Teacher (Secondary)

Contract Type: Full-time (Long-term supply with potential for permanent placement)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £170 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)


Are you a passionate Maths Teacher with a heart for inclusive education?
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the St Helens area. This role is ideal for someone with experience working with SEN (Special Educational Needs) students, particularly within a secondary school setting.


 About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
  • Support students with a range of SEN needs
  • Work closely with the SENCO and support staff to tailor learning plans
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

 Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
  • Previous experience working with SEN pupils is highly desirable
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A compassionate and resilient approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
