Maths Teacher
Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is creative, resilient, and committed to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential in mathematics.
You will be working at a specialist provision in Salisbury, dedicated to supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team, with a focus on Key Stage 3 learners.
The role:
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated maths lessons to KS3 pupils
- Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed
- Building positive, trusting relationships to inspire confidence and enjoyment in learning
- Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals to meet individual needs
- Contributing to the wider life of the school community
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS)
- Maths specialist or proven experience delivering Maths up to KS3 Level (experience with SEMH is desirable but not essential)
- Strong classroom management skills with a nurturing, positive approach
- Creativity, flexibility, and resilience in adapting lessons to meet pupils’ needs
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
