Maths Teacher
Salary: £130 - £230 Per day
Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, provide feedback, and support their learning development
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and resources
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress effectively
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Mathematics or related field
- Experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary level
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in secondary level mathematics
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the UK curriculum for mathematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
- Effective classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience in using technology to enhance mathematics teaching
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. Standard working hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with additional time required for lesson planning and assessment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
