Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a thriving and well-resourced department from September 2025.

Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stage 3 Maths classes.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a conducive learning environment
  • Follow the school's policies and procedures in delivering lessons
  • Assess and provide feedback on students' work
  • Collaborate with other teachers in the Maths department to ensure continuity and consistency across teaching and learning.
  • Typical working hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Bachelor's degree in Maths or relevant field
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Experience:

  • Maths teaching experience, that can be referenced
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK Maths Curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
