Maths Teacher – Secondary School – Oxford
Location: Oxford
Position: Full-Time Maths Teacher
Salary: Competitive (based on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Our client, a highly regarded secondary school based in Oxford, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team. About the Role:

  • Full-time, permanent Maths Teacher position

  • Teaching Maths across KS3 to KS5, fostering a love for the subject and helping students develop strong mathematical skills

  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to students' needs

  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and support to encourage academic growth

  • Collaborating with colleagues in the department to ensure consistent and high standards of teaching

  • Supporting students’ personal and academic development and contributing to their overall wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Maths or a related subject

  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level, ideally across KS3 to KS5

  • Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills

  • A passion for teaching and helping students develop a deeper understanding of Maths

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
