About the Role:
As a Secondary Maths Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 students, helping them develop both their skills and confidence in mathematics. You will be part of a forward-thinking department with a focus on collaborative teaching and creating engaging learning experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Building positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Managing classroom behaviour to maintain a safe and productive environment
- Contributing to extracurricular activities and the wider school community
- Working closely with staff to ensure effective progression and support
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who is:
- A qualified teacher with a degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Passionate about teaching and learning, with a commitment to raising student achievement
- Experienced in teaching at secondary level (Key Stage 3 and 4)
- Able to inspire and motivate students with a variety of learning styles
- Skilled in planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons
- Enthusiastic about working as part of a collaborative and supportive team

Requirements
- Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide at least two professional employment references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
