Maths Tutor – Long Eaton,Nottinghamshire
£25–£30 per hour | Flexible hours | 1:1 and small-group tuition
TP Tutors is seeking passionate and experienced Maths Teachers to deliver engaging and tailored tuition in Long Eaton and the wider Nottinghamshire area. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in students’ learning journeys by helping them build confidence and reach their full potential.
About the Role
You will provide one-to-one and small-group English tuition in learners’ homes, schools, or local community venues. Sessions are designed to meet individual needs, covering reading, writing, comprehension, and exam preparation.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver focused Maths tuition across KS2–KS4 (including GCSE)

Adapt lessons to suit different learning abilities and goals
-
Support learners to improve confidence and engagement
-
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback

Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies
Requirements
-
Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the English curriculum
-
Experience teaching or tutoring (SEND/SEMH experience desirable)

Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
A patient and flexible approach to teaching
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Up-to-date safeguarding training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
