Are you a passionate Maths teacher eager to help students unlock their potential? At TP Tutors, we provide personalised one-to-one and small group tuition to learners who need extra support to succeed.

We’re looking for committed and experienced Maths Teachers to deliver tailored tuition across Long Eaton and the wider Nottinghamshire area.

About the Role

This rewarding role involves supporting students beyond the classroom, delivering engaging Maths tuition either at home or in local community venues.

You’ll design and deliver lessons that meet each learner’s individual needs, making challenging concepts accessible and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality Maths tuition (1:1 or small groups)

  • Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities

  • Break down complex topics to boost understanding and confidence

  • Provide clear, constructive feedback after each session

  • Comply with safeguarding and child protection policies

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum

  • Experience supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needs

  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills

  • Patient, empathetic, and flexible teaching approach

  • Up-to-date safeguarding training

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
