Pay Scale: Main Pay Scale (MPS) – Upper Pay Scale (UPS)
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term with potential for permanent placement
About the Opportunity
Teaching Personnel Liverpool is working in partnership with three well-established mainstream secondary schools across Merseyside. We are seeking enthusiastic and committed Maths Teachers to join their teams as soon as possible. These roles offer an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers or strong ECTs to make a real impact in schools that value high-quality teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure positive outcomes.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes achievement for all learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning and development.
- Uphold school policies and maintain high standards of behaviour and learning.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong academic background in Mathematics.
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver lessons that inspire and motivate students.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
