Teaching Personnel are launching a 'graduate scheme' for aspiring teachers in the Leeds area of West Yorkshire. We are working with a number of schools who would be looking to take on Maths graduates who want to gain Secondary School experience before applying for teacher training.
As part of the scheme, you will become part of the school's Maths department, supporting as a teaching assistant, cover supervisor, delivering small group intervention lessons and take on general administration within the subject.
This will give you a wealth of experience, a true understanding of what the job involves and may even lead to school-based teacher training opportunities. You must have a recent degree in Maths or a related subject and have a real interest in getting into a teaching career.
Whilst on the scheme, Teaching Personnel will ensure you are offered a wealth of CPD opportunities, through our partnership with Leeds Trinity University you can attend courses such as Teaching for Learning, Planning for Progression, SEND as well as many others.
