Location: Guildford, Surrey
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier by arrangement)
Salary: MPS/UPS (London Fringe) – dependent on experience

Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Teacher of Mathematics to join our vibrant and supportive team in Guildford.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3–5, fostering curiosity and confidence in your students. The successful candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a commitment to helping every student achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Mathematics to students of varying abilities across KS3–KS5.

  • Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

  • Assess, record, and report on pupil progress.

  • Contribute to departmental development and extracurricular Maths activities.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.

  • A commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
