Job title- Secondary Maths Teacher

Location- Gateshead

Position- Flexible (temp to permanent)

Start date- November 2025

Pay- £130-£251 a day (paid to scale from day 1)

About the role:

• Deliver informative and engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Creating a positive learning environment to feed collaboration and creativity between both staff and students

Desirable candidates will have:

• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
• Previous experience as a Maths teacher within a secondary school
• High-quality communication skills
• High standards surrounding safeguarding, classroom management and student behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
