Job description

Maths Teacher – Folkestone

We are working closely with a Secondary School in Folkestone to recruit a passionate Maths Teacher.
This Maths Teacher role offers the opportunity to work in a well-organised and supportive setting.
The successful Maths Teacher will join a committed maths department with clear schemes of work.

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver high-quality maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
The school would prefer a Maths Teacher with QTS, although an experienced Maths Teacher without QTS will be considered.
This Maths Teacher role offers consistency and the chance to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching maths to secondary-aged students

  • Planning lessons that engage and challenge learners

  • Supporting students of mixed abilities

  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour

  • Assessing progress and adapting teaching accordingly

  • Contributing to departmental planning when required

 

A Maths Teacher joining this school will benefit from clear expectations and support.
Pay for this Maths Teacher role is £150 – £250 per day DOE.
This opportunity is ideal for a confident Maths Teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
