Maths Teacher – Ashford

We are recruiting for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a well-regarded Secondary School in Ashford.
This Maths Teacher role is ideal for someone confident teaching across KS3 and KS4 in a structured school environment.
The school has a strong leadership team and a clear focus on behaviour, consistency, and student progress.

The successful Maths Teacher will deliver engaging, well-planned maths lessons to students of mixed abilities.
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting academic achievement and building learner confidence.
The client would prefer a Maths Teacher with QTS, however they are open to an experienced Maths Teacher without QTS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching maths across KS3 and KS4

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons

  • Adapting teaching to suit different learning needs

  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively

  • Assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress

  • Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

 

This Maths Teacher role is based within a supportive and welcoming Secondary School.
Pay for this Maths Teacher position is £150 – £250 per day DOE.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
