Maths Teacher – Weymouth

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Weymouth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Mathematics and committed to helping students develop the knowledge, confidence and skills required to succeed.

The successful candidate will teach across KS3 and KS4 and will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that challenge and support students of different abilities.

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
• Assess and monitor student progress.
• Provide appropriate challenge and support.
• Establish positive classroom routines.
• Develop students’ confidence in mathematical reasoning and problem-solving.
• Work collaboratively with the Maths department.
• Contribute to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate:

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
• Strong Maths subject knowledge.
• Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
• Excellent classroom management.
• Able to engage students with different learning needs.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Passionate about improving student outcomes.

The position could suit both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their career within a supportive secondary environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
