Maths Teacher – Full-Time Position with Immediate Start

We are seeking a dedicated educator to join a welcoming and forward-thinking school that caters for pupils aged 11 to 16 years.
This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering the chance to teach Mathematics at secondary level in a supportive and inspiring environment.
About the Role
- Hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
- Start Date: Immediate
- Contract: Full-time

What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for this position
- Minimum of 6 months childcare experience, ideally supporting children with additional needs
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to the school’s rural location)
- A passion for Mathematics and the ability to engage learners of all abilities
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A proactive, caring, and adaptable approach to teaching
Your Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons tailored to diverse learning needs
- Inspire pupils to develop confidence and a genuine love for problem-solving
- Assess progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
