Maths Teacher – Full-Time Position with Immediate Start

Are you a passionate and qualified Maths Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity?

We are seeking a dedicated educator to join a welcoming and forward-thinking school that caters for pupils aged 11 to 16 years.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering the chance to teach Mathematics at secondary level in a supportive and inspiring environment.


About the Role

  • Hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Contract: Full-time

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for this position
  • Minimum of 6 months childcare experience, ideally supporting children with additional needs
  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to the school’s rural location)
  • A passion for Mathematics and the ability to engage learners of all abilities
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A proactive, caring, and adaptable approach to teaching

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons tailored to diverse learning needs
  • Inspire pupils to develop confidence and a genuine love for problem-solving

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
