ARE YOU A QUALIFIED MATHS TEACHER?
The team at Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary school in CV7 (Coventry) to support them with the appointment of a maths teacher on a full time basis, commencing in September.
This is a full time position beginning in September 2025 and will be paid to scale (MPS/UPS.)
Who is our ideal candidate?
- A passionate teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent, relevant experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum for Maths
- Excellent classroom presence and behaviour management skills
- Experience and understanding of how to support pupils with special educational needs
Job role:
-Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to a range of age groups and abilities from KS3-KS5
- Regularly assess the progress and development of pupils, providing them with insightful feedback to encourage their learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths department, helping devise schemes of work
- Communicate effectively with pupils, staff and parents alike in a professional, friendly and approachable manner
- Contribute to wider school community and extra curricular activities where possible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
