MATHS TEACHER REQUIRED IN A CHORLEY SECONDARY SCHOOL

  • Full time, temporary position at a high achieving catholic school in Chorley with the opportunity to become permanent.
  • January 2017 start
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS-Up to £160 per day dependant on experience.

Are you a qualified teacher of Maths (Fully or NQT of Maths) seeking a new challenge in the new year? Would you like to gain a full time permanent position at a catholic secondary school located in the Chorley region?

If so our client school have the perfect opportunity for you.

Due to an unexpected early retirement within the Maths Department, the Headteacher and head of department seek to appoint a high calibre Maths teacher in the new academic year.

Job Highlights:

*Full time, permanent position from January 2017

*Full support from an experienced HOD and strong Headteacher

*Pay in line with MPS/UPS

This is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive located in Chorley. The school holds excellent facilities and has around 940 pupils on roll. Exam results in the department are above the national average (70% A-C 2014) and the school is rapidly improving. The department has excellent facilities and you will have access to state of the art ICT equipment and modern resources in classrooms.

The head of department seeks to appoint a talented and driven Maths teacher who holds a proven record of raising pupil attainment. The successful applicants will be required to plan and deliver engaging practice to both KS3 and GCSE pupils. It is essential that all applicants wishing to be considered for this role hold UK QTS.
