Teaching Personnel are looking for a confident and creative Maths Teacher to provide 1:1 tuition in the Chandler's Ford area. Tuition will be predominantly for pupils awaiting school placements and who are not in education. As such, tuition will take place within the home.
You will play an important part in successfully reintegrating pupils back into school, closing gaps in their maths knowledge as well as accelerating progress.
About the role
- Plan, develop & provide individualised Maths programme
- Deliver 1:1 tuition within the home environment
- Support a range of ages and abilities (KS2-KS4)
- Tailor your support to accelerate progress and build pupil resilience
What you need
- Hold a QTS/PGCE Certificate
- Proven subject knowledge of the Maths Curriculum
- Adaptability to change you style and approach to pupils’ needs
- Endless enthusiasm & patience
