Job Title: Maths Teacher

Location: Burnley, North West England, Lancashire, Preston

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours. April 2025 start until Dec 2025 (may extend)

Salary: £162.31 - £251.71 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and informative KS3/4 Maths lessons to students
  • Create and implement lesson plans tailored to the needs of the students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress regularly
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to aid their development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Maths at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Maths curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Working Conditions:

Work in a school environment, follow school policies and procedures, collaborate with other teachers and staff members
