Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: Paid to scale (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a secondary school in Bridgwater to recruit a motivated and passionate Maths Teacher for a September start. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential for a permanent position.

The Role:

  • Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4

  • Full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment

  • Supporting pupils of varying abilities to achieve academic success

  • Working closely with the department to maintain high teaching standards

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (ECTs welcome)

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

  • Confident in classroom management and behaviour strategies

  • Committed to delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
