- Full time Maths teacher.
- Required from Easter 2020.
- Secondary school located in Bolton.
- Paid to teaching scale point (GBP24,373-GBP40,490).
Our client secondary school are currently looking for a teacher to join the Maths department following the Easter break, due to a member of staff going on maternity leave. This position is guaranteed until the end of the academic year and will continue in September 2020.
The school is located close by to Bolton town centre and is easily accessible via the M61 and A58 from surrounding areas such as Bury, Salford and central Manchester. The school also has excellent links to public transport from neighbouring areas such as Farnworth, Little Lever and Buy for applicants without their own transport.
The incoming teacher will be expected to teach a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE alongside taking on full planning and marking responsibilities. The school is known for its welcoming staff and excellent induction training so applicants are being accepted from newly qualified Maths teachers as well as experienced. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting both classwork and homework tasks for pupils at varying levels of learning ability. The incoming teacher should also monitor and assess pupils progress and behaviour and be able to report this back to the Maths department should it need further discussion.
To be considered for this position, the incoming teacher must have QTS and a subject specialism within Maths. Any experience with behaviour management previously is desirable however, not essential.
