Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Maths teacher on behalf of our client school located in Bolton ahead of September 2018.

  • Full time Maths teaching position - Permanent position

Due to a restructuring within the Maths department, this high achieving Academy located in Bolton have a progressive Maths teaching opportunity for any driven Maths teachers seeking their next position.

The Headteacher wishes to appoint a Maths teacher who holds a track record of achieving excellent results across both KS3 and GCSE level and can stretch the learning of all pupils.

The successful Maths teacher will be joining a well established Maths department who consistently continue to improve under an experienced and supportive head of department. As a Maths teacher within this school you will have full access to regular CPD and will work within a state of the art new build school with excellent facilities. The school have no preference about levels of experience and newly qualified Maths teachers are welcome to apply, and NQT induction can be supported.

This is an average sized 11-16 secondary school which has grown substantially in the last two years.

There are more boys than girls in the academy with pupil behaviour highlighted as a particular strength of the school. Found in central Bolton, a short drive from the M61 the school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas (Bury, Salford, Wigan and Chorley) and has reliable public transport links. Serving an ethnically diverse catchment area, with a high number of EAL pupils on roll, this is a diverse but full filling role for the incoming Maths teacher.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
