Maths Teacher – B37 Birmingham | September 2025 Start

Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher looking for your next opportunity? A welcoming, mainstream secondary school in the B37 area of Birmingham, graded Ofsted “Good” with “Outstanding” elements, is seeking a talented Maths teacher to join their team from September 2025.

Hours: Full Time (Term time only, Mon- Fri)

Rate of Pay: To Scale MPS/UPS

 

Role & Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

Support pupils of all abilities to make strong progress in line with national expectations

Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching practices

Track and assess student progress, providing timely interventions when needed

Work collaboratively with colleagues and actively contribute to the school’s positive ethos

Strong behaviour management skills are necessary & prior experience supporting students with special educational needs is a bonus

The ideal candidate will have:


✅ Recent and relevant experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
✅ Excellent subject knowledge and a strong understanding of mathematical concepts
✅ A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
✅ A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for helping students succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
