Teacher of Maths – Bedford

Start date: September 2023
Our client secondary school, based in Bedford requires a Teacher of Maths to join their dedicated team ready for the new academic year in September 2023. You will be joining a team of creative, supportive and dynamic staff to teach Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The department is already established but needs an additional member of staff to support them. The school is a mixed 11-19 comprehensive located in Northern Bedford and offers a strong educational provision as well as a wide-range of extra curricular activities to suit the needs of all students.
The school is focused on providing an inclusive education for all children and ensuring that every child has access to the same opportunities.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Be a qualified teacher of Maths and able to deliver to KS3 & KS4 OR
- Highly knowledgeable in Maths with experience working with Secondary age pupils
- Be passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
- Good or Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
- Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum, both in the physical and digital classrooms
- High expectations for yourself and the students ensure that all of our students achieve their very best
- You will be dedicated to ensure that all children achieve their very best
- An aspiring leader of learning and happy to grasp exciting CPD opportunities
- Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
