Maths Teacher – Axminster
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)
Contract: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school in Axminster who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring teacher to contribute to a thriving Mathematics department and make a real impact on students’ learning.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and support students.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Commitment to raising attainment and fostering a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
