Maths Teacher - Enfield

Maths Teacher – Enfield – January 2020 start or earlier

The School are looking for a dynamic, talented teacher to join their Maths Department.  You will have a passion for learning and teaching Maths together with the skills to inspire and motivate their students. 

This school is an all through mixed school - 2 to 18 - that is committed to giving children the best possible education. High-performing and continuously improving, they are located in a state of the art building and a short walk from the nearest train station.  In June 2016 Ofsted confirmed that the school continues to be good and is making rapid progress.

The school’s students enjoy Maths and make good progress.  The Maths department is proud of its examination results.  The department is in the top 10% nationally for progress with  A level Maths a  popular choice for students in the 6th form.  

The school’s students make good progress exceeding or equalling national averages.  Each year around 94% of their students’ progress to university with 88% to Russell Group or top third universities.  Outside the classroom extra-curricular activities provide enrichment opportunities for the schools students.

Maths Teacher – Enfield - Requirements;

  • QTS, QTLS or PGCE.
  • A degree in maths or similar subject
  • Experience as a Maths Teacher at KS3 and KS4.
