Maths Specialist
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school in Cornwall who are looking for a Maths Teacher, or Cover Supervisor. This position is to start in mid-June and will continue until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time position, so applicants should ensure they are available 08:30am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday. We are welcoming interest from educators who are due to graduate this year and would like to gain experience teaching, as well as people with a degree in Maths, who are interested in a role within education.
Responsibilities will include, supporting students academic progress, through excellent communication and feedback. We are looking for someone who is able to motivate students, with contagious enthusiasm and a thorough understanding of the KS3 and KS4 National Curriculum.
Educators will be required to have a Child Workforce DBS on the update service prior to being place in a school, however, support with this can be offered during the registration process. Candidates applying should have excellent knowledge of policies including Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour, Teaching and Learning, and Equal Opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
