Teaching Personnel are looking for a qualified Maths teacher to cover an internal staff maternity from February 2019 until January 2020. Our client school is located in Stockport, just a short drive from the M60 and easily accessible by public transport links. The school has over 600 pupils on roll and as mentioned in their most recent Ofsted report (2015) 'behaviour of students is good'.

Mathematics is a fundamental subject that provides students with a highly effective set of resources to understand and change the world. Arithmetic is essential in lifestyle, many types of career, technological innovation, medication, the economic system, the surroundings and growth, and in public decision-making.

The Mathematics department has its own suite of eight dedicated rooms, each of which is equipped with a computer, projector and interactive whiteboard. The Mathematics team are all specialists and we aim to create a positive and structured learning environment where all students can achieve success.

In recent years, the school has made huge strides on their journey to becoming an outstanding school. They now have a modern building with excellent facilities. The Head Teacher and staff are focused on creating an environment that inspires students to take the necessary steps that will help them progress throughout their time at the academy. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic Maths teacher to join the school and support them on their journey towards excellence.
