Job Title: Maths Lecturer

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Job Location: Salford, Greater Manchester

Job Salary: £26,500 - £34,500 per annum

 

Are you currently seeking a new role within Education to start in January 2024? Teaching Personnel Permanent Workforce are currently working alongside an Ofsted rated 'Good' FE College in the Greater Manchester area who are seeking a new A Level Maths Lecturer to join their team in the new academic year. 

 

The main duties of this role: 

  • You will be required to teach Mathematics to A Level within a FE College
  • Liaise frequently with the Head of Department to discuss new ways to expand and develop the Curriculum
  • Offer evening classes or in depth 1-to-1 lessons with students where needed
  • Work alongside the Teaching Assistant(s) on site to offer a higher learning potential for the students

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience teaching A Level Mathematics within a College setting
  • Have a recognised Teaching Qualification, or a willingness to work towards one (PTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed or Equivalent). This may affect Salary expectations
  • Have a relevant qualification in the Subject area (Bachelors minimum ideally)
  • A valid DBS Registered on the Update Service, or an Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
