An exciting opportunity to join a secondary school in Salford, providing intervention and 1:1 support for pupils struggling to reach their target grades.
- Maths Intervention Tutor.
- Required from January 2021 on an ongoing basis.
- Part-time - Hours and days negotiable.
- Competitive rates of pay per hour, depending on previous experience.
- Working in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
- Mixture of face to face and online tuition.
The incoming Maths Intervention tutor will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver targeted interventions for identified pupils. It will be important to monitor and assess their attainment and development in order to report this back to class teachers.
The incoming tutor can expect to work alongside some pupils who have additional learning needs such as dyslexia and dyspraxia. The successful candidate should tailor their intervention sessions for these specific pupils.
You must have experience within Maths or providing tuition/intervention previously.
The school is easily accessible via the M62 and A580 from surrounding areas such as Bolton and central Manchester. The school can also be accessed via public transport from neighbouring areas such as Swinton and Prestwich.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
