Our client secondary school is looking for a Maths graduate who can join them at the end of May, after the half term break. The Maths graduate will be working with the school's year 7 - 9s assisting them with a variety of Numeracy tasks. There are various students that have been identified as requiring further assistance and the school's Numeracy Co-ordinator has put together a list of group tasks.

The successful Maths graduate will therefore be working with students in small groups, supporting them with additional work and running booster sessions. This is a full time role for the duration of the latter half term of this academic year, from Monday 28th May until Friday 6th July.

The school are therefore looking for an astute and intelligent Maths graduate that is looking to pursue a career in the education sector and is looking to gain fantastic experience working within a secondary school setting.

Highlights of this Maths graduate role:

  • Pay ranging between £55 - £65 per day depending on experience
  • Maths graduates from a Maths, Accounting, Finance and Reporting background are highly encouraged to apply
  • Work within an academic secondary school based in the Trafford area

The school believes in making every minute count as students' learning is paramount so upon the current cohort of year 11s leaving for study leave and GCSE exams, they are focussing on year 7 - 10s. The Numeracy Co-ordinator has planned activities and requires support from a Maths graduate to aid in the learning of these students.

The school is located in the Stretford area of Trafford, easily accessible via the local Metrolink. The school has fantastic facilities with the Maths department being well resourced. The leadership team have been praised for their involvement with all aspects of school life and are keen to ensure that students are always learning and making the most of their time at school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
