Maths and/or Science Teacher required in Preston PRU!

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based School which caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, Learning Difficulties and pupils who display challenging behaviours. The School is smaller than average and caters for KS3/4 pupils and they are often learning at a slightly lower level than you might find within a mainstream School.

This role is to start after the May half term and you will be expected to stay until the summer holidays at a minimum. The role would suit a candidate who has strong behaviour management skills, a can do attitude towards work and experience delivering a range of subjects to KS3/4 pupils, ideally you will have experience predominantly delivering Maths and Science as the School struggle in this department.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience working with pupils with SEMH Difficulties and challenging behaviours. The candidate must hold a teaching qualification but candidates from an FE background or NQT's will be considered.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake their Team Teach training on our next available course unless they currently have a valid Team Teach qualification.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
