A client school in Stockport (SK15) are recruiting for a KS2 specialist to deliver Maths and Literacy SATs booster interventions.
If you are a HLTA, Maths or Literacy graduate or have experience of delivering Year 6 core subject interventions then this is the ideal opportunity for you.
The school is larger then your average sized primary school and is 2 form entry. It is easily accessible from Manchester Piccadilly (just over an hour on the train). Providing children with opportunities that actively engage and excite them is at the heart of everything the school does.
This role is extremely rewarding as you get to see first-hand how your hard work and support not only raises pupil attainment but also their confidence and self-worth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside the class Teacher supporting pupils on a one to one or small group basis who require additional support in Maths and Literacy to hit expected levels or with the extra push can over achieve expected levels.
To be considered for this role you must have a sound knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, have a strong understanding of Year 6 Maths and Literacy, know how to identify gaps in pupils learning and how use targeted interventions to narrow those gaps.
If you want to be part of a school where staff morale is high and the SLT are very supportive then please send your CV and covering letter or call 0161 242 1790 as soon as possible as this role is for an immediate start.
