Job Title: Maths and English - Qualified Tutor

Location: Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified Maths and English Tutor to join our team in South East England, specifically in Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to students in both Maths and English subjects. This is a permanent, full-time position within the Education and Training industry.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Maths and English to students of varying abilities
  • Assess students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve
  • Develop tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs
  • Monitor and track student performance and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in both Maths and English subjects
  • Experience working with students in an educational setting

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Maths and English

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with online teaching platforms

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
