Job description

Job Title: Qualified Teacher / Tutor

Location: Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 per hour

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons and tutoring sessions to students
  • Assess students' progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching standards

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching or tutoring in a formal educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of educational principles and teaching techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Proficient in using technology for teaching and learning purposes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or related field
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
