A school in Tower Hamlets are currently looking for a Mathematics Teaching Assistant to help their pupils. The students at the school have a mixed ability so the TA will need to differentiate the work load accordingly.
The students at the school make good and occasionally outstanding progress as noted by the Ofsted report. They have a desire to learn and a teaching assistant would be ideal in aiding and inspiring them to reach their full potential. The school has an ethos with emphasis on traditional values such as smart uniform, strong discipline and good manners. They deliver this ethos with modern teaching methods and state of the art technology.
The ideal candidate:
- Will have previous experience as a teaching assistant.
- Will have a strong mathematical ability, able to assist students of varying ability.
- Will be able to communicate clearly with a firm but calm tone.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
