Mathematics teacher required for a 'Good' graded secondary school located in Wigan.

The school have an open gap within their Mathematics department and wish to appoint a forward thinking Mathematics teacher who is able to join the school in September 2019.

Employment for this role is being offered on a full-time temporary basis for at least 12 months.

Due to the nature of the staffing gap and the school having an experienced Head of Department in place this full-time teacher post, starting from September, is suitable for an experienced or a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT).

The successful teacher will be joining a hardworking Mathematics faculty consisting of highly skilled and dedicated practitioners who are passionate about their subject. Each teacher within the department places an emphasis on teaching in a very experiment and investigative-based way.

Applicants applying for this role will be able to engage, motivate and drive enthusiasm amongst students within the school. It is vital that the incoming staff members will be able to raise attainment across their cohort. The applicant will be able to contribute, along with the rest of the faculty staff, to further promote and develop Mathematics across the school.

Situated in Orrell, the school is on the outskirts of Wigan town centre making it easily accessible via car or public transport from the surrounding areas; Skelmersdale, Chorley, Standish & Ashton-in-Makerfield. It is also a short drive away from the Merseyside areas.
