Full time Maths Teacher position available in Tameside based secondary school.

Our partner school in Tameside have advised us they’re seeking a full time Maths Teacher to start as soon as possible. The role will be temporary until the end of the academic year with the option to be extended into the September term.

The successful candidate will work to a timetable teaching Maths up to KS4 in a Tameside based secondary school. The position has become available due to a permanent staff departure and is a great opportunity for a Maths Teacher to become part of a strong Mathematics department. The school itself a modern and thriving secondary school with a supportive senior leadership team.

Candidate requirements for this position:

• Qualified Teacher Status in the UK (QTS)
• Experience teaching Maths up to KS4/ GCSE level in UK schools
• Ability to take on departmental responsibilities
• Child Workforce DBS certificate on the Update Service/ eligibility to apply
• Suitable school based references with no safeguarding or disciplinary concerns

The school are currently focusing on improving school ratings and raising student attainment in order to impact the next Ofsted rating and ensure their students achieve their academic potential in upcoming assessments.
