Teaching Personnel is proud to offer an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated SEN partner school in Cambridge that supports autistic pupils with complex needs. The school are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and innovative Mathematics Leader who is committed to inclusive education and trauma-informed practice.

About the Role

As Mathematics Leader, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching to Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils, adapting lessons to meet diverse needs and cognitive abilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of a creative curriculum from Year 3 to GCSE, ensuring outstanding teaching across the department
  • Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes confidence, independence, and emotional regulation
  • Collaborate with families, teaching assistants, and therapists to ensure a holistic approach to pupil support
  • Contribute to the review of EHCPs, setting goals, tracking progress, and providing regular reports

The Ideal Candidate:

✔️Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

✔️Specialism and/or degree in Mathematics - At least grade B GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics. 

✔️ Passionate about supporting children with Autism
✔️ DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
✔️ Proactive, enthusiastic, and ready to make a difference!
