Job Title: Male SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: South Norwood, South London
Full-Time – 5 days per week

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Male SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in South Norwood. This is a full-time position (Monday–Friday) and an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their potential by:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN and SEMH needs

  • Creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment

  • Assisting teachers in delivering tailored lessons and interventions

  • Building strong relationships with pupils to encourage confidence and progress

  • Using effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience working with young people with SEN/SEMH needs (essential)

  • Excellent behaviour management skills with a calm, confident, and resilient approach

  • Ability to engage and motivate students in a supportive way

  • A genuine passion for making a difference in young people’s lives

  • Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday
