Role: Lower Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant

Location: Backwell

Pay: GBP60-70 Per Day

The head teacher and governors of a fantastic school in the Backwell area is seeking an engaging, motivational and committed Lower Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant. In this role you will be providing support to the class teacher as well as supporting high achieving students as well as the students falling behind in small groups. The general Teaching Assistant duties include preparing resources for the lessons, working with small groups and individual students and helping the Teacher with classroom management.

The successful candidate will: 
•Have high expectations of learning and behaviour and take initiative to speak out to keep students on task
•Experience of working with KS2 children or in a classroom
•Experience of engaging children in learning
•Be able to commit to the schools ethos and the community feel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
